Practice for uck and ay
Jay is three years old. He lives in an apartment with his mother.
One morning Jay takes his toy duck to the bathroom.
He plays with the duck in the toilet.
The duck gets stuck in the toilet. Now the toilet is stopped up.
There is water on the floor. Jay’s mother calls the manager.
She says, “I didn’t have any luck fixing the toilet.”
She calls a plumber. The plumber arrives in his truck.
Jay’s mother pays the plumber $50.00.
Jay doesn’t play in the toilet any more.
